All That I Have is Thine

All That I Have is Thine

Ryan Bush:

The best obedience of my hands dares not appear before thy throne, but faith can answer thy demands by pleading what my Lord has done. Isaac Watts.

Ryan Bush:

Blessed be the Lord, for he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield. In him, my heart trusts and I am helped. My heart exults and with my song, I give thanks to him. The Lord is the strength of his people. He is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage. Be their shepherd and carry them forever. Psalm 28:6-9.

Ryan Bush:

And he said unto him, son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. Luke fifteen thirty one. Such words need no words to explain them. They pass explanation. Only the spirit of God can open them to us. But this from Ter Stegen may help us to understand them a little. Hath not each heart a passion and a dream, each some companionship forever sweet, and each in saddest sky some silver gleam, and each some passing joy too fair and fleet, and each a staff and stay though frail it proved, and each a face he fain would ever see. And what have I? An endless heaven of love, a rapture and a glory and a calm, a life that is an everlasting song, all, oh, beloved, in thee. Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. Father, I would be ever with thee, and all that I have is thine. Amy Carmichael.
