Food and Drink unto You
Ryan Bush:
In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only son into the world so that we might live through him. And this is love. Not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10.
Ryan Bush:Let the thoughts of a crucified Christ be never out of your mind. Let them be food and drink unto you. Let them be your sweetness and consolation, your honey and your desire, your reading and your meditation. Ah, remember this. His wounds were deep, his burden weighty, his cup bitter, his suffering painful, his agony and torment above conception and beyond expression. Thomas Brooks.
