Nothing But Christ
2 Corinthians 8:9 | Thomas Wilcox | A Little Breeze by Simon Folwar | A Wooded Landscape by Meindert Hobbema | Gospel Portions Book: www.ryanbush.org
Ryan Bush:
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
Ryan Bush:To accept Christ's righteousness alone, his blood alone, for salvation, that is the sum of the gospel. And the soul, in all duties and distresses, can say nothing but Christ, Christ alone for righteousness, justification, sanctification, redemption, not humblings, nor duties, nor graces that I have gotten above the reach of the billows.
