Nothing But Your Needs and Miseries
When you believe and come to Christ, you must leave behind your own righteousness and bring nothing but your sin. Oh, that is hard. Leave behind your holiness, sanctification, duties and humblings and bring nothing but your needs and miseries. Otherwise, Christ is not fit for you, nor you for Christ. Christ will be a complete redeemer and mediator and you must be an undone sinner or Christ and you will never agree. It is the hardest thing to take Christ alone for righteousness, that is to acknowledge Him as Christ. Join anything to Him of your own, and you un Christ Him. Thomas Wilcox.
Ryan Bush:Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30.
